1989 Chevy Truck Cruise Control will not work? Could it be ABS needs to be reset?

BC Says: Check for a blown fuse and loose connections at the cruise control unit. then if you think the ABS needs to { reset } just unplug you car's battery for about an hour then reconnect it. This will reset the computer back to a default. after you start it it may run at a hi idle, & or have poor driveability but this is the computer relearning the engine's sensors & operation it will only be momentary.
