Whats the difference between bmw 5 series and bmw 3 series.?

And as far as I know until very recently (520d) they never came with anything smaller than a 6 cylinder engine. They come with straight 6's, v8's, I think the m5 is a v12 now.3 series is smaller, available in convertible, coupe, saloon, hatchback. avaliable with 4 cylinder or straight 6 engine... except for the m3 which is now the only 3 series v8, previously a straight 6.3. Says: The number.4. Says: $25,0005. Says: the 5 series is slighter bigger than the 3 series....ummm....that's about it really....oh,the cost is more....ummm..that is it!6. Says: The BMW 5 series is larger in size and more luxurious. Consequently, the price will also be more expensive. The BMW 5 series also uses more fuel as it is a larger car. The BMW 5 series is more to a family car because it has more space in the rear compartment.7. Says: Go to the BMW website and do a comparison between the two.
