Is it worth putting money and upgrades into a base 2003 tiburon?

3. Tomas Says: You mean like tuning the car? If you do mean that, well it is worth it. The Tiburon is a very nice car with a lot of potential, if you want to increase HP.

4. aj20031018 Says: Yes, and since it's an older car the tuner parts will be much cheaper now compared to doing the same thing to a Genesis coupe. Check ebay and you'll likely find exhausts/intakes/crossdrilled rotors and tons more parts for way less then new retail price. As 1st post said, since it's an older car many parts may be worn and ready for upgrade anyway...like brakes, suspension, exhaust. It's a fun hobby to work on a car and make it faster/nicer then the day you bought it.
