1. Gy Says: Your emergency brake cable is rusted. You had enough strength to apply it, but the return spring is too weak to pull it back. You can pull the rear brakes off, soak the cable housing with WD-40 and keep pulling the cable back and forth until it's good and free; or get a new cable. Either way, you'll have to get into the rear brakes. You should keep the cable lubed and use the parking brake every once in a while to keep it from locking up like that.
2. blanderswake Says: Take it to your dealship.
3. Rose Says: there is a ratcheting type system underneath the dash, get someone competent to go up under there with a flashlight, you should be able to release it with a flat head screwdriver, you take the tension off of the part by having a second person push down on the brake pedal just enough to push the spring loaded pin that is holding the brakes tight. if this is not possible, and you have to move the vehicle and cannot wait for the mechanic, you may have to cut the cable under the vehicle (cut the long single one up towards the front, this should release the rear brakes, then tape the cable end securely up on the frame, away from the spinning drive line, and tape it securely so it cannot get caught on anything. good luck
4. dick car guy Says: Depends on what you've tried or not tried....

If nothing... then try releasing the parking brake normally, while pulling on the foot pedal. If this doesn't work, then get underneath the car, and trace the braided steel wire going towards the back brakes. It should split to both rear calipers. There should be a disconnect at the split. If you can't locate this, then release the brake at the calipers themselves. DO NOT drive it with the brake locked in.. it can ruin your entire rear braking system.
