How difficult to remove the cylinder head on a 02 civic?

1. Grab Life By The .... Says: 2002 Civic Ex 1.7L Vtec. 135K miles.
I would like to remove the head and have a valve job and a basic port and polish.
How difficult is it to remove the head?

2. Something Fierce Says: Just follow the procedure for removing the timing belt and then you will need to remove the intake and exhaust manifold. Not too difficult, but will take some time and things can go really wrong if you are not careful with reinstalling every thing.

3. Hans Says: The valve covers for hondas are usually held on by 3 small screws. From there, you'll have to detach each valve assembly and provide the parts to the guy who's sand blasting them for you. remember the order (i use colored sharpies) and reinstall them with the correct torque.

Lube and crank, and thats about it.
