What kind of exhaust should I put on my 4.3L v6 engine?

(2010-05-29 16:30:51) 1. Fernie Says: I own a 2009 Chevy Silverado 4.3L Vortec v6 engine and I wanted to install an exhaust system on it. I want to make the right choice of muffler to put on truck because I don't want it to sound like a bumble bee. I heard that flowmasters are good for v6's. Any suggestions?2. Pat Says: Edlebrock has a nice sounding muffler, deep and NOT raspy at WOT like the flowmasters and magnaflows. They should have a system for the Silverado.3. LS1 Says: damn it's a shame you got the v6 but anyways.. you'll be extremely happy with a Hooker Aero Chamber muffler
