Advice on buying a rebuilt title Acura?

It has a rebuilt title, what happened was it was a front fender bender, he replaced the hood and the radaiator and the bumper. Thats all, it looks great, just has the problem. The blue book is $8500, how much do you think its worth? No check engine lights or anything, drives like a dream!2. Says: I would not pay more than half the blue book value.Salvage means the insurance company at one point paid it off instead of fixing.
If he fixed it and it runs good and looks good and you really want the car...............
Make sure you dont pay more than half the blue.
And remember it's not dealer's price, it's private party price.
Make sure the title is one where the car can be registered without a DMV salvage or stolen parts inspection.
He may say it's a fender and a hood, but maybe he could be lying too.......... run the car on carfax.com and get more info. I don't really mind a rebuilt car if it's one that comes cheap and runs great and passes inspections...........JUST DONT THINK OF EVER SELLING IT.
