1. jp Says: yes, back in the 70's and 80's chevy had the chevette models (isuzu diesels) in the 70's GM also produced a diesel car with a poorly designed diesel v8 it was available in oldsmobiles, pontiac, and cadilac cars.

currently GM does not have and diesel cars for the US consumer.
