Spring fell of my car?

(2010-05-30 09:42:09) 1. Constance Says: This morning when I started my car it made an odd noise and then when I was backing out of my driveway...a spring fell off by the right tire. Im assuming it has something to do with power steering bc the steering wheel was hard to move and it made an odd noise. Help please???2. Sane Says: We do need more info. From what you said, wild guess would be the main belt tensioner. This keeps the mail belt tight so the motor can run the accessories. If that fails and the belt is left loose, your power steering will not work as the pump is not being operated. Your AC should not work as well.
