Fuel Injector Cleaning question?

1. Mr. Dziwulski Says: I might go to a repair shop tomorrow to get my fuel injector clean at $49.99 , My question is when you do the fuel injector cleaner they also clean your throttle body, and what else they do? When going to do this job you need to have a empty gas tank or it doesn't matter because I got a full gas tank?

2. ken k Says: stop in at auto zone and get inj cleaner that has techron in it/throw a can /bottle of it in there and go for 10 mile drive/same thing/throttle bodies can be cleaned with old tooth brush and choke cleaner/5 min job and 299 for spray

3. Paul Says: "Fuel Tank, it doesn't matter". They Clamp off the Fuel Line and hang a Pressurized Can of Cleaner, Yes it does go through the Throttle Body but you still may need to Adjust the Throttle Linkage & Change the Fuel Filter.

4. charles Says: at the parts store or wal mart get a can of sea foam cleaner put the whole can in the tank ,then drive the car ,the same thing they put in for $ 49.99. save about $ 40.00..we use sea foam every day in are shop.......

5. dangerII Says: What I would use is cheap compared to the cost of what other say to do with the Fuel system.Go to a pharmacy and get 2 bottles of rubbing alcohol 92% and go to a parts store and get 2 bottles of gas treatment and dump into the gas tank but that stuff called sea foam is good stuff I have used it but for the cost of it I use the regular cheaper gas treatment and it does fine.But then go to a chevron station and get some real gas and blend it in when filling up by dumping all bottles into the tank it will treat the fuel system entirely.
