Pontiac Grand Prix fans are weak?

(2010-05-30 09:44:58)
1. Steven Says: Well the car is running hot and not quite overheating. I have replaced coolant level sensor and temps sensor also have done a flush. The car is not burning off coolant or leaking. I was told maybe I have a fan issue . Well the fans come on however they don't blow hard. You know when your fan kicks on you can usually hear it mine come on but with such little force I cant hear it and can barely feel it on my bare hand. Should I replace the fan motors are go for the relay first?
2. Paul Says: First; Did you Change the Thermostat? (Sometimes after Overheating Several Time it will get Weak and not fully open). {Which Fan is Weak, A/C or Radiator?} Check to make sure Both Fans are working properly; Radiator Fan Cycles on and off as engine heats & Cools, A/C Condenser Fan comes on & Stays on with A/C. Ether Fan if Weak means the Windings in the Motor are Burning Out, Replace. Make sure the Surface of the Radiator is Clean & 90% of the fins are Straight for Max. Airflow.
3. sondrashy Says: if the relays are doing their job, then i would suspect the fan motor.
