Where is the VSS on a Saab 9000?

There are no known parts named VSS on Saab 9000 that I know of.If you are referring to the Alarm/immobilizer unit, it should be under driver seat. Not sure you can override it because it uses a logic signal and requires a Tech II to work around it. Find yourself a good Saab repair shop and they'll be able to fix it very inexpensively and problem solved. It is impossible to get around electronics on late model saabs without the Tech II.3.
