1. Venkat Says: Hi,
I'm from India (chennai).
I've a dawoo matiz 800 cc 5 speed manual, 2000 model.It is very well maintained.Now i face a problem with my car.
When i start my car and drive it, it goes damn smoothly without any issues until i stop the car(i mean switch off the car) on my way. It goes smoothly how much ever distance before stopping it. But when i stop it and start the car either immediately or start it in few minutes like 2 or 5 minutes, it will get started but when i drive it, it becomes damn sluggish and even if i push the accelerator even fully, it goes to around 5 kmph only.Almost it will be like 90 percent of the engine power is lost.I couldn't drive my car at all. and if i off the car and park it and then if i take it again, say after some 20 minutes or half an hour, it'll again start moving very smoothly. What will be the problem for this? Experts please advice.
When ever i start the car for first time of that day, it starts smoothly. But when ever I'm facing this problem, and when i start the car during the problem, i could hear some very mild 'booom ' sound like that. It will sound like the bass from the speaker when the voice is off.The sound comes from behind.I think its from petrol tank part.Because the petrol tank is only there below the back seats.
And when ever i keep it for some 20 or 30 mins and then start again, i don't hear that sound at all.
Is there any chance for the problem wit ignition coil, or delco or petrol motor or anything ?
What may be the reason for my problem. I wanna rectify this immediately. Please experts help me out.
Which part would be causing this problem, and can i change that with the one of Chevy spark?

Can anyone please give me contact details of a very good matiz expert mechanic in chennai
who can rectify my problem correctly?
2. Mallikarjuna rao U Says: Hello, in your car the problem exists in petrol filter (due to clogging), or petrol pump not functioning properly. Due to which the fuel injectors are not getting sufficient fuel. Also get the injectors serviced. There are several sensors are fitted in your engine. If any of the sensor fails also leads to this type of problem. Pl. take it to any Davoo show room.
3. rraj Says: I am not auto Expert , But from your comments I think the problem relate with transmission/gear box.

Check the gearbox for damages, top up/change gerbox oil . also check the transmission and if required apply recomended lubricant. ( when the vehice heated up the issue comes. but when cooled down the problem disapears. looks the lubricant is lost its lubrication properties.)

if parts are damaged you may get in G.P road ( behind LIC on Mount road.). or even try with Pudupet for some dismandled part from other old vehicles.

Cheverlet Spark parts may not fit (not sure)as there is some changes in the transmission box for Spark.

You may try with all vehicle service centers (like Bosch / My Tvs authorised service stations ).
