1998 Jimmy question... What could it be if..?

(2010-05-30 09:47:51)
1. Missy Says: when I am at a complete stop & I accelerate (even slowly) there is a clunk or pop on the right side (front) seemingly comming from where the right tire is? I just had new CV joints & ball bearings replaced yesterday. The clunk when accelerating wasn't there before. The CV joints were popping every time I turned a corner & there was also "whining" comming from the left sides totalled ball bearings, but I have never heard this clunk before. It only happens when I'm at a complete stop & then press on the gas. I never jam the accelerator down,I go easy. Need some suggestions & possible approximate cost to fix each suggestion,.
Have had:
Right motor mount bad
Suspension control arn
Drive shaft/U joints

Any way to tell which of these it is or even something else?

The mechanic who did the job has worked for a high school on buses, vans & cars for over 35 years & has had his own VERY popular garage since graduating college,so I trust his work.I'm just confused as to why it clunks now & I never noticed it before. You can also feel the clunk from both sides (driver & passenger) but more so on the right side.

HELP!!!

TYVM :)
2. bandit_60 Says: yes a bad u-joint can make it clunk.
3. silentwarrior Says: Ford, drive one.
