My car loses power while accelerating, whats wrong?
(2010-05-30 10:05:34) 1. Says: 91 Accord, manual, 250,000 miles.Happens in every gear it starts to lose power and sputter and occasionally jerk as I accelerate. This doesn't happen all the time but it occurs at least once per trip frequently more often. If I shift to neutral and back into gear and floor the accelerator it will accelerate anything less will just make it stutter again most times.
Fuel pump changed 50,000 miles ago. Took it to a mechanic who was stumped and couldn't duplicate the problem.2. Says: Collapsed fuel line (there are TWO + Vapor lines) or clogged up fuel filter. Tag: My car loses power while accelerating, whats wrong?
